Family owned and operated, the Arc de Texas is a unique structure modeled after the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel in Paris, France, but numerous changes were made to the structure to create an actual working building, instead of merely a monument. The result is a building that includes exterior dimensions, and a grand archway, that are very similar to those in the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, but with interior designs and structures that are completely different because they include suites and a wine bar.
We built the Arc de Texas on the top of a prominent hill so that guests can see, in all directions, for at least 20 miles. You can see the lights even as far away as Fredricksburg, Texas. Situated on our 2,000 acre ranch, you are treated to greenery in all directions, and views of the many scenic hills found in central Texas.
The Arc de Texas was designed and built by me and my beautiful wife Kathy in 2013-14. We have four children, a dog, a cat, a 20 pound African spurred tortoise, and 2 old horses (one of which is related to Secretariat). The tortoise will outlive us all.
Come have a drink and enjoy the view!
